Maa, starring Kani Kusruti and Anikha, is a 28-minute Tamil short film which dealt with the topic of teen pregnancy. Directed by Sarjun, the film is about 15-year-old Ammu confessing to her mother, and the emotions and after-effects it poses on the lives of this average Indian middle-class family.
Produced by Gautham Menon's Ondraga Entertainment with a budget of Rs.2.5 lakh, the film has garnered over 7 million views on Youtube.
