Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee come together for an action entertainer titled Jawan. The title announcement video opens up with a glimpse of several guns and communicating equipment. Shah Rukh Khan plays Jawan who appears to be wounded and his face is covered with bandages. The video ends on a high note with him packing different weapons like knives and guns, and is seen waiting in a metro station.
The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under the banner Red Chillies Entertainment. Anirudh Ravichander is roped in as the music director. Jawan is set to release on June 2, 2023, across five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Ante Sundaraniki stars Nani and Nazriya in lead roles as Sundar and Leela. While Sundar aims to go to America and flex about it to his friends, Leela is a photographer and wishes to get married in her dream wedding destination. When both families oppose interfaith marriage, it looks like the pair decides to elope and fulfill their dreams.

After a short break, Singam franchise fame director Hari makes a comeback with Yaanai starring Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar. From the trailer, it looks like the film is an action drama driven by family sentiments and emotional moments.
The cast includes Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Ammu Abirami, KGF Ramachandra Raju, and Radhika Sarathkumar. The film is produced by Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel under Drumsticks Productions. GV Prakash is the music director, Gopinath is the DOP and Anthony is the editor. Yaanai is scheduled to release on June 17.
After his successful outing in Jana Gana Mana, Prithviraj Sukumaran will be next seen in Kaduva. He plays a character named Kaduvakkunnel Kuruvachan. Kaduva is directed by Shaji Kailas and the story was penned by Jinu V Abraham. The film is slated to hit the theatres on June 30.
Apart from Prithviraj Sukumaran, it stars Samyuktha Menon, Seema, Janardhanan, Priyanka Nair, Sudev Nair, Aju Varghese, and Dileesh Pothan. The trailer of Thurthu Nirgamana begins with the dialogue "Birth and death are not in our hands". Centered around this theme, Vikram, after his death, gets an opportunity to relive the last three days of his life. If he doesn't find what he needs, he will be stuck in these three days.

Set in the backdrop of Cochin Port from 1927 to 1953, Thuramukham follows the lives of workers who struggle for basic rights and power. Starring Nivin Pauly, the film was scheduled to release on June 3. However, the makers have postponed the release date and the film is now slated to hit the theatres on June 10.
Thuramukham is directed by Rajeev Ravi (who is also the cinematographer) and written by Gopan Chidambaram, based on a play by KN Chidambaram. B. SK20 is helmed by Anudeep KV, who is known for the 2021 Telugu release Jathi Ratnalu. The makers have announced that the film will hit the theatres on August 31, on the occasion of Vinayaga Chathurthi. SK20 stars Sivakarthikeyan, Maria Ryaboshapka, and Sathyaraj in important roles.

Kochaal revolves around Krishna Sankar's character who aspires to become a police officer. He is always teased for his height but finally achieves his dream. Shine Tom Chacko plays a local goon, and the major conflict is between Krishna Sankar and Shine Tom Chacko. Kochaal releases on June 10.

Kovai Sarala plays the role of an old woman who takes care of her granddaughter, her unique characterization builds curiosity. There is some danger looming over the bus and its passengers, but the trailer does not reveal any plot points.

Virata Parvam is a periodic drama helmed by Venu Udugula. The film was initially scheduled to release on April 30, 2021. However, due to the pandemic, its release was postponed to July 1, 2022. The makers have now preponed its release, and the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 17.
