Kamal Haasan’s Senapathy, a freedom fighter turned vigilante, is back with Indian 2 to fight corruption. Directed by Shankar, it is a sequel to the 1996 hit film Indian. The film also co-stars Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar and others. 

Longlegs (English)

Directed by Oz Perkins, the film is about an FBI Agent, a gifted recruit, who unearths evidence against an elusive serial killer. But the agent soon discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer. The film stars Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage.

Saranaga Dhariya (Telugu)

When: July 12

The film explores how far a family will go to protect their honour and achieve their dreams. Directed by Padmarao Abbisetti, the film stars Raja Raveendar and Yashaswini Srinivas.

Fly Me to the Moon (English)

Amidst the Space Race, fake moon landing and NASA’s public image at stake blossoms this romantic comedy-drama directed by Greg Berlanti. It stars Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum.

Sarfira (Hindi)

The Hindi remake of Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru is based on a real story. The film follows a man who wants to make it big in the aviation industry and let the common man fly. Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, who helmed the original, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhika Madan, while Suriya plays an important cameo.

Manikbabur Megh (The Cloud & The Man) (Bengali)

In a surreal world of romance, a cloud falls in love with a loner. The film is helmed by Abhinandan Banerjee and stars Chandan Sen and Debesh Roy Chowdhury.

Jay, a young wrestler and bullcart racer, gets in a fight with the local goon Suryaji. Directed by Ayub Hawaldar, the film stars Bhushan Shivtare and Mayuri Navhate. 

Kakuda (Hindi)

The horror comedy stars starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Salem. It is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar

The UP Files (Hindi)

When: July 12

Inspired by true events, the Manoj Joshi starrer follows Abhay Singh, who gets elected as the chief minister of UP. The film is directed by Neeraj Sahai.
