Animal (Hindi)

When: December 1

Animal is about Arjun Singh, a son whose love for his father Balbir Singh knows no bounds. But his father fails to understand his fervent admiration, complicating their relationship. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy (2017) fame, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol.

Sam Bahadur (Hindi)

When: December 1

Sam Bahadur is a tribute film to India`s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who was the Chief of the Army Staff during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film stars Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Parking (Tamil)

When: December 1

When a young couple move to Chennai and buy a car, the house owner doesn't allow them to park it within the building premises. This creates a rift between the owner and the tenant, complicating their lives. Directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan, the film stars Harish Kalyan, Indhuja Ravichandran and MS Bhaskar.

Annapoorani - The Goddess of Food (Tamil)

When: December 1

This satire will feature Nayanthara in the titular role as a conservative Brahmin girl who secretly loves eating chicken. Annapoorani (2023) is being directed by debutant filmmaker Nilesh Krishna and co-stars Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, and Redin Kingsly, among others.

Upendra Gadi Ada (Telugu)

When: December 1

This light-hearted entertainer follows a group of youngsters who decide to become popular on social media by hook or crook. Directed by Aryan Subhan Shaik, the film stars Upendra Kancharla, Savitri Krishna, Kireeti Damaraju and Sandhya Janak.

Antony (Malayalam)

When: December 1

A prodigy boxing champion alters the life of a man with a dark past. Will she be able to redeem him through her game or is he going to be taken down by the weight of his past? Antony stars Joju George, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Nyla Usha and Chemban Vinod Jose. The film directed by Joshiy will also see the return of the crew behind the superhit Porinju Mariam Jose (2019).

Dance Party (Malayalam)

When: December 1

A struggling dance troupe. A blossoming love story. An ill-fated one-way romance. All these strands come together in Sohan Seenulal’s directorial which stars Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Shraddha Gokul, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin.

Philips (Malayalam)

When:  December 1

This family drama deals with a happy-go-lucky widower, who lives with his three children. However, one day their lives take a wild turn because of an outside force. Directed by debutant Alfred Kurien Joseph, the film stars Mukesh, Innocent, Noble Thomas and Navani Devanand.

Ranchi (Kannada)

When: December 1

This social drama focuses on the life of an aspiring filmmaker, whose worldview and aspirations take a turn when he decides to make a documentary on the Railway System as he ends up discovering a hidden oil crime syndicate. Directed by Shashikanth Gatti, the film stars Prabhu Mundkur, Divya Uruduga and Tota Roy Choudary.

When two people end up being in a relationship without love, they try to somehow make things work. But can they? Directed by Aravind Kaushik, the film stars Aravind K P, Divya Uruduga, Sooraj Hoogar and Shreya Babu.

Yathabhava (Kannada)

This courtroom drama is based on the life of a youngster, which is at a crossroads as he finds himself wrongfully accused of rape allegation. The film directed by Gautham Basavaraju stars HG Dattaatreya, Gopal Deshpande and Bala Rajwadi.

Anavarana (Kannada)

When: December 1

Anavarana is the story of a police officer who is forced to go down an ever-unfolding odyssey to find out the identity of a deceased. This psychological thriller co-directed by Harish Kumar and Manjunath Pillappa, stars Arjun Yogi, Sarika Rao, Nandagopal and Gaurish Akki.

Palle Gootiki Pandagocchindhi (Telugu)

When: December 1

In a village known for its frantic fandom for female stars, two young men leading the Nayanthara and Anusha Shetty fan clubs decide to build idols of their favourite actresses and end the debate forever. The film stars Rohit Krishna, Nikita Bisht, Suman and Saikumar Pudipeddi and is directed by Tirumalarao Kancharana.

Atharva (Telugu)

Directed by Mahesh Reddy, Atharva is a murder mystery that leads the protagonist through a twisted path. The film stars Karthik Raju, Simran Choudhary, Kabir Duhan Singh and Kalpika Ganesh. The film will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil.

Va Varlam Va (Tamil)

A young man along with his gang decides to kidnap a bus full of school children to become rich. Directed by Suresh Babu Ranganathan, the film stars Balaji Murugadoss, Mahana Sanjeevi, Redin Kingsley and Mime Gopi.

Naadu (Tamil)

When: December 1

The film follows an urban educated doctor who is transferred to a village in the hopes of mitigating the frequent illness and disease spread in the rural area and her efforts to get adjusted to the ways of the villagers. The film stars Mahima Nambiar and Tharshan Thiyagarajah and is directed by M Saravanan.

The Bikeriders (English)

When: December 1

The film is inspired by Danny Lyon’s The Bikeriders, the famous photography book. Set in the 60s. this tale about a gang of bike riders going through a crisis is a Goodfellas meets Sons of Anarchy saga, as per the initial reviews from film festivals. Helmed by acclaimed director Jeff Nichols, this biker drama stars Austin Butler, Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer.

Silent Night (English)

When: December 1

A father who lost his voice in a shooting incident which also cost his son's life embarks on a seemingly impossible training regime to seek revenge. This high-octane action thriller will mark the return of the legendary filmmaker John Woo. It stars Joel Kinnaman, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Kid Cudi.
