Leo (Tamil)

When: October 19

Vijay’s action film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is about a middle-aged family man who is mistaken by a criminal gang to be their former absconding associate. The film also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja and Gautham Menon.

Bhagavanth Kesari (Telugu)

When: October 19

What happens when an uncle forces her niece to join the military? What if her life is in danger at the hands of a dreaded gangster? This mass entertainer starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role is directed by Anil Ravipudi. Bhagavanth Kesari co-stars Arjun Rampal, Kajal Aggarwal and Sreeleela.

Ghost (Kannada)

When: October 19

This heist thriller will star Shivarajkumar in the lead role and revolves around a covert mission undertaken by a man to pull off an impossible heist. Ghost is directed by Srini and stars Anupam Kher, Jayaram, Prashant Narayanan, Satya Prakash, and Archana Jois.

Jongole Mitin Mashi  (Bengali)

When:  October 19

A lady detective is tasked with the job of taking on an illicit gang poaching wild elephants in the forest. Will she be able to overcome the challenges to save the lives of the remaining elephants from extinction?  Jongole Mitin Mashi is directed by Arindam Sil and features Koel Mallick, Subrajith Dutta and Kamalike Banerjee.

Raktabeej (Bengali)

When: October 19

An explosion at a VIP event forces a police officer on an investigation that unfolds a conspiracy involving powerful people. This police procedural directed by Nandita Roy stars Abir Chatterjee, Victor Banerjee and Mimi Chakraborty.

Tiger Nageswara Rao  (Telugu)

When: October 20

This action entertainer is based on the life of a notorious thief, who used to reign over Stuartpuram during the 1970s. The film stars Ravi Teja, Anupam Kher, Nupur Sanon, Mandava Sai Kumar and Gayatri Bhardwaj. Vamsi Krishna N is the director.

Killers of the Flower Moon (English)

When: October 20

The latest offering from filmmaking legend Martin Scorsese is the culmination of his entire career’s work. Set in the 1920s, the film deals with an FBI investigation into a series of murders and features Leonardo Dicaprio and Lily Gladstone as the couple who are caught between the Osage community and the local white American population when it hits close to home. The film also stars Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons and Brendan Fraser.

Ganapath - A Hero is Born (Hindi)

When: October 20

Set in 2070, this action film deals with a world divided between Silver City and Gareebon Ki Duniya and a hero who has to take it upon himself to ensure that all inequalities in the system are rectified.  Tiger Shroff stars in the lead role with Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon playing important characters. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl.

Maujaan Hi Maujaan (Punjabi)

When: October 20

Maujaan Hi Maujaan deals with three brothers with different physical handicaps and their attempts to unite one of them with his newfound love. The film set in London is directed jointly by Smeep Kang and Nasir Zaman and stars Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, Karamjit Anmol and Tanu Grewal.

Yaariyan 2 (Hindi)

When: October 20

A remake of the modern-day Malayalam classic Bangalore Days (2014) is a coming-of-age romantic drama that tells the story of three cousins who embark on a journey of self-discovery as they move to a new city and find love and heartbreak. Yaariyan 2 which is also a standalone sequel to Yaariyan (2014), is directed jointly by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru with an ensemble cast that features Divya Khosla Kumar, Yash Dasgupta and Anaswara Rajan.

Bagha Jatin (Hindi) 

When: October 20

This historic epic is based on the life of a lesser-known chapter in India’s freedom struggle and concerns the life and legend of Bagha Jatin, who fought for Indian independence along with fellow members of the Jugantar. The period historical stars Dev as the title character with Sreeja Dutta, Sudipta Chakraborty, Shoaib Kabeer and Rohaan Bhattacharjee. Bagha Jatin is directed by Arun Roy.

Dawshom Awbotaar (Bengali)

When: October 20

Dawshom Awbotaar is a neo-noir crime film that deals with a serial killer on the loose and is a direct prequel to director Srijit Mukherji's previous films, Baishe Srabon, Vinci Da and Dwitiyo Purush, creating Bengali cinema's first Cop Universe. The murder mystery features Jisshu Sengupta in the titular role and Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Jaya Ahsan.

Pyaar Hai Toh Hai (Hindi)

When: October 20 

What happens when a stranger enters the lives of two childhood friends who fall in love with each other? Directed by Pradeep RK Chaudhary, the film features Karan Hariharan, Paanie Kashyap, Abhishek Duhan and Veen Harsh.
