Rana Daggubati On What To Expect From The Telugu Remake Of Ayyapanum Koshiyum

It will have all the swag that you would expect, says the actor

Anupama Chopra

Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum is an epic clash between two men whose lives become defined by conflict. When former Army man Koshy (Prithviraj) is hauled to the police station for drinking in a dry zone, he's slapped by policeman Ayyappan (Biju Menon). Koshy then plots revenge. Rana Daggubati announced that he was teaming up with Pawan Kalyan for a Telugu remake of the film. He tells us what to expect:

"Ayyappanum Koshiyum is a Malayalam film that Biju Menon and Prithviraj had starred in. Now, we're adapting it and Telugu culture is loud, brash and much noisier than the Malayalam culture. So we've brought that into the story. We have a fabulous writer, Trivikram Srinivas. Every day on that set is fun. You're going to see a slick, dialogue-drama type of film. It will have all the swag that you would expect of a star acting in it too."
