Sara Ali Khan made her Cannes Film Festival debut in a lehenga designed by designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Khan wore a desi off-white lehenga and completed the look with traditional Indian jewelry.
The designers shared a post with Khan’s red carpet attire with the caption, “Sara Ali Khan made her Cannes debut in an exquisite hand-embroidered multi-panel skirt. The intricate shadow work embroidery, adorning each unique panel, showcases a mesmerizing calendar of designs from our archives of couture down the years. Sara's ensemble is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, with a resplendent blouse with intricate work in crystals, pearls, and resham work.”
On the work front, Khan is occupied with the promotions of her upcoming feature Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke opposite Vicky Kaushal. Other Indians at the Cannes Film Festival include Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Urvashi Rautela, and Mrunal Thakur.
