It's a great time to be an RRR fan, what with the film's electric Keeravani composition 'Naatu Naatu' recently being awarded an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The award was shared by MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose at the Oscar ceremony this week.

The song was further performed live at the ceremony, rendered by singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj with a band of dancers. Expressing his gratitude, singer Bhairava took to Twitter to thank the people (including SS Rajamouli, SS Karthikeya and choreographer Prem Rakshith) that made this recognition possible.

"I can and never will forget the fact that I wouldn't have had the chance to have this beautiful experience if not for them...blessed to be even the tiniest part of 'RRR'," he said.

The singer further clarified in a tweet that actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR, too, were big reasons behind the film's success. "I have no doubt Tarak anna and Charan anna are the reason for the success of naatu naatu and RRR itself. I was ONLY talking about who all helped me get my opportunity for the academy stage performance. Nothing else. I can see that it was conveyed wrongly and for that, I sincerely apologise for my choice of words," he said in his tweet.
