As we all know, SS Rajamouli’s RRR (2022) got an Original Song Nomination for MM Keeravani’s dance number “Naatu Naatu” at the Oscars this year. Fans of the song can now rejoice for yet another reason, as it is set to be performed live by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on March 12.

The viral number has bagged a lot of awards including the Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards and Hollywood’s Critics Association Awards. Up until now, the only other Indian song that has been performed at the Oscars is ‘Jai Ho’ from Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

Other Indian titles nominated for the Oscars include Shaunak Sen’s documentary All That Breathes and Kartiki Gonsalves’ Netflix documentary The Elephant Whisperers. The Academy Awards will be televised live on ABC.
