Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's directorial venture Sam Bahadur ,based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Maneckshaw, who was India's Chief of the Army Staff during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.
Director Gulzar took to her Instagram handle to share a video from the sets. "Only Gratitude as we set out on this extremely special Journey…#SamBahadur now filming. Sam Bahadur features Kaushal as Maneckshaw with Malhotra as Maneckshaw's wife Silloo. Fatima Sana Shaikh will be portraying the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film.
