In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Alia Bhatt revealed that she’s excited to shoot Jee Le Zaraa and is happy that there are more films on female friendships being made.

The Darlings (2022) actor said, “We’re doing more female friendship films. We don’t see much of that. Girls’ trips, girls just being friends and not fighting over stupid things.”

“I’m quite excited about that. We realised [how important it was] when we announced it and the response we were met with was so positive. I remember PC [Priyanka Chopra] saying, ‘You don’t really know what you’re missing until you actually claim it,”’ she added.

Jee Le Zaraa will mark Farhan Akhtar's return to directing after a decade after Don 2 (2011). The film stars Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif as the protagonists. It will go on floors by the end of this year.
