The Ram Charan – Samantha – Aadhi starrer Rangasthalam is doing fabulous business across the globe. The film had a good opening but coupled with positive reviews and a strong word of mouth, director Sukumar's film is piling on the crores. If we look at its opening weekend numbers, it has emerged next only to Baahubali 1 and 2 among all Telugu films. This is also Ram Charan's career best opening. Rangasthalam's numbers for the first 3 days are in fact higher than Dhruva's lifetime numbers.

Rangasthalam's total worldwide gross after the first 4 days has crossed the 100 CR mark; reported at 102 CR with the theatrical share at 63 CR. The total worldwide theatrical rights are valued at 80 CR and in 4 days,  it has already done close to 80% recovery. A detailed breakup of Rangasthalam's 4-days share in AP and Telangana is as follows:

Nizam – 12,16,00,000

Ceded – 8,60,00,000

Nellore – 1,62,71,844

Guntur – 4,75,00,000

Krishna – 3,37,00,000

West Godavari – 3,12,33,139

East Godavari – 4,06,00,000

Uttharandhra – 6,09,49,771

Total 4 days AP & Telangana share – 43.78Cr

Rangasthalam held on strongly on Monday in both the Telugu states and all the stakeholders are looking at a really big winner. The team held a thanksgiving meet on 2 April in Hyderabad, and proudly claimed that the film will eventually end up as the all-time No.3 Telugu grosser. Ram Charan's father Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No.150 currently holds that position.

In the USA, Rangasthalam is already the all-time No.4 Telugu grosser after just 4 days (including premieres) with a gross of $2.45 M (as of Monday). The first three positions are taken by the two Baahubali movies and Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu whose lifetime gross collections amount to $2.89 M.

In Karnataka, after the first 4 days, Rangasthalam has grossed around 9 CR with a share of 5.5 CR. Swagath Enterprises has released the film and it's rapidly nearing the break-even mark.

In Tamil Nadu, it is already a hit. The film has grossed around 1.67 CR after the opening 3 days. In Chennai, the weekend gross of 70 lakhs is a new opening record for a Telugu language film. With 10 lakhs coming in on Monday, the film is moving towards the 1 CR gross mark in the city.

Rangasthalam hasn't been released in Kerala yet. Ram Charan had said in a pre-release interview that there are plans to have Malayalam and Tamil dubbed versions soon.

The year got off to a shaky start with Pawan Kalyan's much-hyped Agnyaathavaasi turning out to be one of the biggest Box Office disasters. But Rangasthalam's success has brought back some cheer in the Telugu industry. The next two highly anticipated movies are Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya.
