These days it feels like a real challenge to keep up with what's dropping when on which platform with new show announcements popping up all the time. That said, July promises to be yet another exciting month in the world of streaming with a wide range of stories. From the return of Stranger Things, to badly behaved superheroes, to more Comicstaan, here are our picks of what's releasing this month across platforms.

Our favourite gang of teenagers with an affinity for stumbling on the supernatural are back, ready to face more of the unknown, fight demogorgons and explore the mysterious upside down.

The next Netflix Indian original to look forward to is a five-part horror series directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The Goa-set show focuses on a haunted villa being investigated by a group of school-friends-turned-amateur-ghost-hunters.

The final season of one of the shows first responsible for putting Netflix on the map promises to bring the beloved saga of female inmates at Litchfield Penitentiary to an end. Expect a grand send-off and many tears.

A Marvel reunion on the small screen? Consider us sold. Starring Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo, the latest Netflix original film is an action romp about an emergency room nurse who unwillingly partners with an injured murder suspect to save his wife.

Jerry Seinfeld returns to the driver seat of his beloved chat show on wheels, as he discusses all things comedy with the biggest names in the business including Eddie Murphey, Ricky Gervais and Seth Rogen among others.

The hit reality show which put a brought forth a set of fresh faces in the Indian comedy scene is back for Season 2. The new season offers an altered set of judges, but the same amount of undiscovered talent waiting to break out as the next generation.

At a time when superheroes are dominating film and pop culture comes a refreshing twist on the genre that looks to stick it to the supers – literally. Based on the celebrated graphic novel, Supernatural showrunner Eric Krapke brings us a world where superheroes are self-obsessed, terrible people akin to badly behaved celebrities. That is of course, until a group of assassins come in to show them their place and keep them in check. Cue violence, bloodshed and superpowered carnage.

Mammootty-starrer Unda is among the most widely discussed mainstream Malayalam films of the year. It follows a group of policeman tasked with maintaining law and order in a Naxalite stronghold during a volatile election season.

One of the most celebrated Malayalam films of the year so far, Kumbalangi Nights finally graces the world of streaming. The Fahadh Faasil-starrer revolves around the love-hate relationship between four brothers and touches on ideas of masculinity and family.

There's something about giant, adorable pandas kicking ass that just never gets old. The series spin-off to the beloved Kung Fu Panda movies features Po and his new set of panda disciples embarking on new adventures Kung Fu-fuelled adventures.

After Akshay Kumar-starrer Rustom, the industry takes another stab at the Nanavati trial – one of the landmark cases in the history of India. With an impressive cast that includes Sumeet Vyas, Angad Bed and Manav Kaul, this could well be the series the iconic story deserves.
