In an interview with Film Companion, Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed that he has no hope from Bollywood, but believes in individual producers, directors and still has hope from regional cinema.
“Bollywood se mera hope pehle bhi utra huva tha aage bhi utara rahega. Mere ko bollywood se specially koi hope hain nahi…haan jo regional cinema hai jo individual directors producers hain ya jo akele baithke apna kaam kar rahe hai unpe bharosa hain unpe hope hain aur vo hope dikhti bhi hain phir jab unka kaam aata hai toh dikhta hain unse hope hain.” (I have lost my hope from Bollywood long back. I have no special hope from Bollywood, yes regional cinema and individual directors and producers have been doing their jobs and you have faith in what they do so I have hope from them.)
Siddiqui was last seen in Telugu film Saindhav also starring Venkatesh Daggubati. He will next be seen in Rautu Ka Raaz, a mystery thriller premiering from June 28 on Zee5.
