Rangabali Trailer: Naga Shaurya Clashes With Shine Tom Chacko In A Bitter Turf War

In the trailer of Rangabali, Naga Shaurya’s character is introduced as an aimless youngster working in his father’s pharmacy. But he soon joins a medical college in his hometown, with changes his life. While he falls in love with a fellow student played by Yukti Thareja, he also gets into the bad books of some students. 

Things take a turn when prominent Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko is introduced. The mood of the trailer drastically changes as Shaurya clashes with Chacko in a bitter turf war as the film’s central theme focuses ont he strong identity one associates with their hometown. 

Interestingly, the credits of each crew member have their hometowns attached. The trailer ends with a dialogue highlighting this theme, where Shaurya says, “One can be a slave in another place, but in our hometowns, we have to be the kings.”

Rangabali is written and directed by debutant Pawan Basamsetti. It is backed by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. Pawan CH has composed the music while Divakar Mani and Vamsi Pachipulusu have lensed the film, with Karthika Srinivas handling the editing. The commercial entertainer, which is slated to hit the screens on July 7, also features Brahmaji, Murali Sharma and Satya.
