Shah Rukh Khan in King: ‘Full of Attitude, Swag Character, Action-Scene with Suhana

Khan will be sharing the screen space with daughter Suhana Khan who makes her theatrical first with King

Ever since news of Shah Rukh Khan working with daughter Suhana Khan broke, fans have been more excited than ever to see the father-daughter duo share screen space. As per recent media reports, it is finally happening, Khan has begun working on his passion project tentatively titled King which marks the first theatrical release of his daughter Suhana Khan.

A source associated with the project has revealed that Khan will have shades of grey in the film, “Shah Rukh Khan is making films for the audience and is well aware of their urge to see him in shades of grey. King is his passion project, and he has been meticulously working on all aspects of the project with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh. They have collectively carved a very cool, full of attitude and swag character with shades of grey for SRK in King.”

The source further added that Siddharth Anand is currently working on the action sequences with international stunt teams. "Sujoy, on the other hand, is getting the dialogue draft ready, whereas SRK is overseeing the creative process and training with Suhana on some new-age action sequences,” the source further said.

Khan has previously portrayed negative characters on screen with films like Baazigar (1993), Darr (1993) and Anjaam (1994) along with his recent past films Raees (2017), and Farhan Akhtar’s Don series. He was last seen in Pathaan (2023), Jawan (2023) and Dunki (2023) while Suhana made her Hindi film debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film, The Archies.
