It was earlier announced that the Telugu comedy drama, Sundaram Master, starring Harsha Chemudu in the lead role and produced by Ravi Teja, would be hitting screens on February 16. The makers have now announced that the film film arriving in cinemas a week later, on February 23, instead.
The postponement can be attributed to the rescheduling of Eagle, starring Ravi Teja, from Sankranthi to February 9, which in turn, caused the team of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, which was initially scheduled to open on February 9, to move to February 16. Moreover, Varun Tej's Operation Valentine is also set to hit screens on February 16. As of now, Sundaram Master is the only notable film to lock the February 23 weekend.
The film co-stars Divya Sripada of Middle Class Melodies fame, and is directed by debutant Kalyan Santhosh. Ravi Teja's RT Team Works is producing the film along with Sudheer Kumar Kurru through Goal den Media. Featuring music by Sri Charan Pakala, the film has cinematography by Deepak Yaragera and editing by Karthik Vunnava.
