Prabhas-starrer Salaar (2023) was confirmed for a September 28 release from the very onset. The big-budget action spectacle that will see Prabhas joining hands with KGF director Prashant Neel has been postponed as per the latest update from the production house Hombale Films. The production house noted in their social media platforms, “We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we're committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience”
The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy and Jagpathy Babu among others in the supporting cast and Salaar is one of the most expensive productions from Telugu cinema till date, riding on the worldwide success of KGF 1 (2018) and KGF 2 (2022).
The production house has not confirmed a new release date for the film but noted, “ Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. The new release date will be revealed in due course.
