Death On The Nile Trailer Talk: Ali Fazal Marks His Presence In This Kenneth Branagh Multi-Starrer Whodunnit On A Luxury Cruise

Based on an Agatha Christie namesake book, the film releases on October 23rd

Hercule Poirot, the mustachioed Belgian detective from the Agatha Christie universe, confronted by murder on a luxury liner by the Nile proclaims, "I have investigated many crimes, but this has altered the shape of my soul." The murder is embedded in a love triangle based on Agatha Christie's 1937 namesake novel 

Poirot is played by Kenneth Branagh, who is also the director of Death On The Nile. (He also played Poirot in and directed the 2017 Murder On The Orient Express, another whodunit from the Christie litany.)

The film has an elaborate star cast: Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright. Ali Fazal, last seen in Netflix's House Arrest also stars in this bedazzled project. 

Written by Michael Green, Death On The Nile releases on October 23rd, making it one of the first major international films to see a global release amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
