Lalitham Sundaram's trailer begins with its lead actors Manju Warrier and Biju Menon, playing a couple that could also be working in a business together. And from the looks of it, the business appears to be either wedding planning or event management. Set almost entirely in a hill station, the drama/comedy then talks about the wedding of two characters played by Anumohan and Deepti Sati, although it's unclear who they are in relation to the lead couple. The trailer also shows a small girl and a grandfather (played by Raghunath Paleri).

The trailer does not reveal much apart from the rest of the characters. It is shot by P Sukumar and Shankar and the film's music is by Bijipal. The film's being directed by the superstar's brother Madhu, who had also acted in several films earlier. Apart from her, the film also stars Biju Menon, Deepti Sati, Anu Mohan, Saiju Kurup and Dileesh Pothan.

Lalitham Sundaram is Manju Warrier's first direct OTT release. Her previous solo release was Chathur Mukham, apart from the multi-starrer Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which released late last year.

The trailer of Dulquer Salman's Salute too was launched just an hour before Lalitham Sundaram. The SonyLIV film gets a direct release on March 18. Directed by Rosshan Andrews, the film isn't a mass police outing like the initial promotion material revealed. Shot  and written along the lines of a thriller, the trailer gives glimpses of an investigation that begins after a criminal has been sent to jail. The dark tone and mysterious score also suggest a gritty whodunit with elements of noir.

It was written by Bobby and Sanjay and it was shot by Aslam K Purayil. Jakes Bejoy has taken care of the music.

On Saturday, the team behind Twenty One Grams too released a trailer, after dropping a single last week. The trailer hints at an investigative thriller that begins with a killer on the loose. Anoop Menon plays the officer in charge of finding the killer after a violent crime has taken place. The rest of the trailer shoes the many characters in the film, including those played by Anumohan, Leona Lishoy, Ranjith and Ranji Panicker. The film's written and directed by Bibin Krishna and it's music is by Deepak Dev. The single, released last week, is called 'Vijanamaam Thazhvaaram'.
