The second teaser of Mammootty's upcoming film Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam has become the talk of the internet for depicting not just the acting prowess of the Malayalam film veteran, but also of Tamil acting legend Sivaji Ganesan. The teaser, which unfolds as a scene at a local bar, sees Mammootty masterfully enact Sivaji's popular dialogue from 1973 Tamil film Gauravam.

The teaser makes use of skillful lighting and the sound effects of a radio to convey the genius of Mammootty and in particular Sivaji, who played the dual roles of a barrister and his advocate nephew in the 1973 legal drama. As Mammootty finishes the monologue in a state of inebriation, he is met with an emotional round of applause from his drunken audience. The first teaser of the film, which was released earlier this year, had montages of humans and animals enjoying their sweet afternoon naps.
