On the last count, there were 4 John Abrahams — the vigilante, the politician, the policeman, and the farmer. But towards the end of the Satyameva Jayate 2 trailer the farmer John Abraham has twin John Abraham sons, so that makes it 6? Maybe the twins are the policeman and the vigilante, so it is still 4? Maybe one of the four John Abrahams is a flashback-John Abraham, so it might just be 3? Wikipedia says 3. Who knows?
The successor to the successful Satyameva Jayate, writer-director Milap Zaveri promises more of the same, but this time, it is elevated in pitch. Muscles rip through flesh and clothes, sermons are delivered at a decibel enough to make the deaf hear and the hearing deaf, Divya Khosla Kumar dons chiffon and a plough with the same wide-eyed anger, and there is a shimmying Nora Fatehi aptly placed after a Bhagat Singh dialogue. It's the kind of fun, frolicking violence that Zaveri has laid claim to with remarkable box office success.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, the film releases theatrically on November 25.
