Batman Begins

The film is set eight years after the events of The Dark Knight. Gotham City is experiencing a time of relative peace and prosperity due to the implementation of the Dent Act, until a new threat emerges in the form of Bane.

Inception

In the movie released in 2010 and directed by Christopher Nolan, Cillian Murphy plays the role of Robert Fischer, Jr. He is a wealthy heir and the target of a complex heist that is carried out using a technique called "inception", which involves planting an idea in his head.

Dunkirk

Cillian Murphy appears in Christopher Nolan's war film as the Shivering Soldier. Dunkirk is based on the true events of the Dunkirk evacuation during World War II, where British and Allied forces found themselves surrounded by German troops on the beaches of Dunkirk, France.
