It is a very relevant story that shows circumstances we are faced with almost everyday. Some of the themes it explores are of social media addiction, human connection and external validation. 

Three of Us (2022) 

This film directed by Avinash Arun is a gentle story about nostalgia, emotional core memories and letting go.The story is of a woman with early onset dementia and a visit to her hometown with her husband. The performances, writing and ambience of this film is extremely enveloping and takes us into the world on screen. 

Jigarthanda DoubleX (2023) 

This action comedy directed by Karthik Subbaraj is a prequel to the 2014 film Jigarthanda. This film is set in Tamil Nadu, 1975, when a filmmaker and a gangster collaborate to shoot a movie, to make their dreams come true. This is a film to watch if you are in the mood of a visually exciting entertainer. 

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret (2023) 

This film directed by Kelly Fremon Craig is based on the 1970 novel of the same name by Judy Blume. It is the story of an eleven-year-old girl called Margaret who moves to a new town and has to navigate new friendships, emotions and the early years of adolescence.

Hi Nanna (2023) 

This film directed by Shouryuv is a romance drama. It is the story of a doting single father to a 6 year old girl. The father is shown struggling to be enough for his daughter while dealing with questions and consequences regarding the absence of a mother-figure in the little girl’s life.

Holiday in the Vineyards (2023) 

This Christmas romance comedy is the perfect watch for anybody still experiencing the post holiday blues. The story follows the meeting of a widow who runs the local vineyard and a man on the secret job to buy out the place for his mother's wine company.
