Widely considered one of the best Indian streaming shows of 2019, Richie Mehta's Delhi Crime follows the true story of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case which ignited the nation. Led by Shefali Shah, the series features an impressive ensemble cast, including Rajesh Tailang, Rasika Dugal and Adil Hussain among others. The show takes place in the days immediately following the heinous crime. Delhi Crime tracks the efforts of the police in capturing the perpetrators, whilst examining the far-reaching implications of the crime, from the politics to the media.

Written and directed by Richie Mehta (India In A Day) with dialogue from Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh, the series premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019 after which it was quickly snapped-up by Netflix.
