Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of August 29th, 2022 – September 4th, 2022. The numbers are estimates based only within India. This list does not include any streaming releases from the South.

1. Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach — Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 9.2

Directed by Rohan Sippy, the third installment of the Criminal Justice series sees Pankaj Tripathi reprise his role as lawyer Madhav Mishra.

2. Cuttputlli — Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 8.0

In this remake of 2018 crime thriller Ratsasan, a cop (Akshay Kumar) struggles to unravel a child abduction ring in his city.

3. Koffee With Karan — Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 7.0

The sixth episode of the seventh season of the talk show Koffee With Karan had Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff on the hot seat.
