April brings eight new K-dramas to bite into – the highest monthly number we have seen on Indian streaming this year – filling us with renewed vigour for complex plotting, swoon-worthy romances, badass women and inexplicable cravings for soju and snacks. Heroine-driven stories are normal for K-dramas, but this month sees Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Viki Rakuten leaning heavily into women with secrets and sass. While you continue to enjoy last month’s The Glory (part 2) and Jeon Do-yeon’s stylish action film Kill Boksoon, here are some new dramas to add to your watchlist.
