Billed as a romantic drama, Prince is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. Starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, the film is slated to release on October 21. It is helmed by Anudeep KV and stars Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka as the female lead.

The 80-second teaser of Gandhi Talks introduces us to the four main characters played by Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Marathi actor Siddharth Jadhav. With Rahman's version of the bhajan 'Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram' playing in the background, we see them using different rupee notes for different purposes.
The no-dialogue film is directed by Kishor P Belekar of Hajari (2020) fame. The AR Rahman musical is produced by Zee Studios, Kyoorius Digital Pvt. Ltd. & Movie Mill Entertainment. While Karan Rawat will be handling the cinematography, Ashish Mhatre will be editing the film.
Mukundan Unni Associates starring Vineeth Sreenivasan marks the directorial debut of editor Abhinav Sunder Nayak of Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Aanandam fame. In the first look poster, Sreenivasan’s character has four hands holding a book each with titles dedication, perseverance, discipline, and hard work, and two hands holding an extra head. Going by the first and second posters, Sreenivasan seems to play an advocate in the film. The film is slated to release in November.
Director Abhinav Sunder Nayak has also co-written and co-edited Mukundan Unni Associates. The film is also penned by Vimal Gopalakrishnan and has music by Sibi Mathew Alex. Produced by Dr. Ajith Joy, Viswajith Odukkathil has lensed the film and Nidhin Raj Arol has co-handled the editing.
The three-minute long trailer of Padavettu sees Nivin Pauly's Ravi change from a lazy man who is made fun and gets beaten up to a powerful rebel who fights the politicians. The film which is said to be set in the backdrop of north Kerala explores the socio-political issues of the area. The trailer has a lot of action sequences, where Ravi takes down masked enemies, politicians and also a few villagers who mock him. Padavettu is set to hit the screens on October 21.
Helmed by Liju Krishna, Padavettu co-stars Aditi Balan, Shammi Thilakan, Shine Tom Chacko and Indrans. The film is produced by Vikram Mehra, Siddharth Anand Kumar, and Sunny Wayne. Billed as a romantic action entertainer, Charan Rory’s Rory is set in the political backdrop of Hyderabad and follows the journey of a young man who travels from Hyderabad to Pakistan under certain circumstances. The teaser gives us a glimpse of the chaotic world as the location shifts between India and Pakistan.

The national award-winning director Vetrimaaran will be making a film on the life of Velupillai Prabhakaran. He is the founder and leader of the militant organisation LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam). Politician Senthamizhan Seeman will produce the film. It is an empowering story that traces the journey of a woman from being a victim of domestic violence to rising against all adversities. Aishwarya Lekshmi who was last seen as Poonguzhali in Ponniyin Selvan I is essaying the role of the titular character Ammu.

Billed as a horror film, Khaimara went on floors on Vijayadashami. The film marks Gautam VP’s directorial debut in Kannada cinema. It is produced by V Mathiyalagan who will also be essaying a prominent role in the movie. Khaimara co-stars Priyamani and Chaya Singh. While Srikanth will edit the film, Manigandan will handle the camera and Guru Kiran will score the music for the film.
Karthi, who was last seen as Vandhiyathevan in Ponniyin Selvan I is gearing up for the release of his next Sardar, which is slated for this Diwali. In this film, Karthi has sung a rural folk song Yerumayileri, penned by Yugabharathi. Music composer GV Prakash shared a photo of Karthi from the studio with the announcement on his social media and the song is said to be an ode to the classical theatre performances.

Uthaman Pradeep (Pradeep Ranganathan) and Nikitha (Ivana) play lovers who believe they know each other very well and decide to get married. But Nikitha’s father asks them to exchange their phones for a day. How well do they actually know each other? Will they find out each other’s secrets through the phones? The film is an extension of Ranganathan's short film App(a) Lock.

But it looks like the heroine is personified as a violin and the hero is playing it while blood drips from her neck. The director has weaved the theme of the film based on the concept of the flavour enhancer Ajinomoto, where certain situations might seem good initially but later one will realise that it is not what it appeared to be.
