Samuthirakani plays a policeman in Rakesh Uppalapati’s directorial debut Nenu Student Sir. Billed as an action entertainer, the film stars Bellamkonda Ganesh and Avantika Dassani in lead roles. Samuthirakani is said to play the father of Avantika Dassani’s character.

Krishna Leela and Krishnan Love Story fame Shashank teams up with Darling Krishna. Billed as a romantic family entertainer, the film is titled Kousalya Supraja Rama. The film is said to revolve around a mother-son relationship. Produced by Kourava Production House and Shashank Cinemas, the music for the film is composed by Arjun Janya and Sugnyan is the DOP.
Sakthivel’s directorial debut Miral is billed as a slasher thriller. Set amidst a windmill farm, the film follows an engineer and his wife as they encounter strange events that unfold. Miral is slated to hit the theatres on November 11.

After the action film Kaduva (2022), Shaji Kailas and Prithviraj Sukumaran reunite for Kaapa. Director Shaji Kailas teams up with Mohanlal for Alone. In the first teaser that released in May 2022, actor Mohanlal was seen training in martial arts. The film which is produced by Antony Perumbavoor goes by the tagline, "Real Heroes Are Always Alone...!!!"

Prithviraj starrer Vilayath Buddha is an adaptation of GR Indugopan's novel of the same name and marks the directorial debut of Jayan Nambiar. The story revolves around two men, Bhaskaran Master and Double Mohanan, who try to claim the ownership of a sandalwood tree.
