Here's a look at what's releasing in theatres this week across languages

The Wariorr (Telugu and Tamil)

When: July 14

N Lingusamy's film, which co-stars Ram Pothineni, Krithi Shetty, Aadhi and Akshara Gowda, follows the exploits of Pothineni's swashbuckling Deputy Superintendent of Police, who goes head-to-head with Aadhi's murderous goon. The bilingual film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi and presented by Pavan Kumar under Srinivasaa Silver Screen.

My Dear Bootham (Tamil)

When: July 15

Written and directed by N Ragavan, the fantasy Tamil film features actor and filmmaker Prabhudeva as a genie who grants the wishes of a young boy (played by Super Deluxe fame Ashwanth). Produced by Ramesh P Pillai, the film also stars Remya Nambessan as Ashwanth's mother. 

Sarathi (Gujarati)

When: July 15

Directed by Rafiq Latif Shaikh and featuring Pratik Gandhi, Meena Patel, Chhaya Vora and Shekhar Shukla, the film follows the life of an orphan boy whose life is turned upside down when he meets an older lady living with dissociative identity disorder. 

Shabaash Mithu (Hindi)

When: July 15

The biographical sports drama directed by Srijit Mukherji follows the life of former Test and ODI captain of the India women's national cricket team, Mithali Raj. The film stars Taapsee Pannu in the titular role. Produced by Viacom18 Studios, the movie is edited by Sreekar Prasad and has music by Amit Trivedi.

RR: Ragi Reku (Telugu)

When: July 15

The Telugu film stars Charan Chanikya and Aasma Syed in lead roles. 

Tu Rajee Re (Gujarati)

When: July 15

Directed by Hardik Bhatt, the film is centered around Parth, a happy-go-lucky mimicry artist, who goes on a journey of self-discovery when he is diagnosed with cancer. The film stars Divyang Thakkar, Janki Bodiwala, Anang Desai, Rajiv Mehta, Ghanshyam Nayak, Lily Patel,  Jyoti Chudasama and Deepak Gheewala. 

Chase (Kannada)

When: July 15

The crime thriller, directed by Vilok Shetty, follows the lives of different individuals, whose personal and professional lives collide with gripping consequences. The movie stars Radhika Narayan, Avinash Narasimharaju, Arjun Yogi, Sheetal Shetty and Sushant Pujari in lead roles. 

HIT: The First Case (Hindi)

When: July 15

Starring Rajkummar Rao as a top officer working with the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT), the film revolves around the crackdown of a missing woman's case. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Dilip Tahhil and Milind Gunaji, among others.  ​​

Iravin Nizhal (Tamil)

When: July 15

Billed to be the world's first single-shot non-linear film, Iravin Nizhal follows a man's memories of his dark past. Written and directed by Parthiban R, the movie also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in an important role. The Tamil movie has music by AR Rahman. 

Ladki (Hindi)

When: July 15

Directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma, the film is an action-packed film that explores the life of a woman (Pooja Bhalekar) and her love for Bruce Lee and martial arts. 

Bajre Da Sitta (Punjabi)

When: July 15

Featuring Ammy Virk, Tania and Noor Chahal, the Punjabi film follows the lives of two sisters and singers Roop Kaur and Basant Kaur. But when Roop gets married to a man who hates music, hilarity and drama ensue. The movie has been directed by Jass Grewal. 

Kuler Achaar (Bengali)

When: July 15

Sudeep Das's Kuler Achaar has a simple yet quirky plotline. Mithi (Madhumita Sarcar) is a newly-married feminist, who refuses to change her last name following her wedding. But when she inspires her mother-in-law, too, to go back to her maiden surname, drama unfolds in the family. The film also stars Vikram and Indrani. 

Gargi (Tamil, Telugu and Kannada)

When: July 15

Gautham Ramachandran's Gargi stars Sai Pallavi as Gargi, a middle-class teacher, whose life is turned upside down when her father gets entangled in a case. The courtroom drama also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and Kaali Venkat in prominent roles. Gargi is a Govind Vasantha musical and is presented by 2D Entertainment in Tamil.  

Oh My Love (Telugu)

When: July 15

Smile Sreenu's Telugu flick is a romantic film featuring Akshith Shashikumar and Keerthi Kalakeri.

Karmanye Vadhikaraste (Kannada)

When: July 15

The thriller revolves around the events that follow the death of archeologist Dr Gunakimath. This prompts Dev (Prateek Subramani) to unearth secrets and find out the truth behind Gunakimath's death. 

Elaveezhapoonchira (Malayalam)

When: July 15

Starring Soubin Shahir as a cop stationed at a wireless police station in a hillstation, Elaaveezhpoonchira follows a bone-chilling murder mystery. Directed by Shahi Kabir, the Malayalam film has been written by Nidhish G and Shaji Maraad, and produced by Vishnu Venu.

Judaa Hoke Bhi (Hindi)

When: July 15

Vikram Bhatt's horror-laced romantic film is about Aman Khanna (Akshay Oberoi) and Meera (Aindrita Ray), whose lives take a regretful turn when their young son dies in a freak accident. As Aman tries to find the answer to his grief at the bottom of a bottle, Meera takes on a ghost-writing job at a mansion. 

Ananta (Bengali)

When: July 15

Starring Ritwick Chakraborty and Sohini Sarkar, the film follows the life of Suvo, who falls for a woman and builds a life with her in his own imaginations.

Benki (Kannada)

When: July 15

The revenge drama follows a brother-sister relationship. The movie stars Anish Tejeshwar, Sampada and Sruti Patil.
