Imaginary (English)

When: 15th March 

A mother and daughter who have recently moved into the mom’s childhood home only to find the daughter getting overly attached to a stuffed bear in the basement. However, their seemingly innocent ordinary life takes a deep wild turn when the bear turns out to be part of a tragedy from the past and ignites a nightmarish supernatural ride. The film features DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne and Pyper Braun in the lead and is directed by Jeff Wadlow.

Kung Fu Panda 4 (English)

When: 15th March

Po’s eccentric adventures in the world of the ‘Kung Fu Panda’ enters a whole new dimension, when he is forced to take on a new challenger called ‘Chameleon’, who might be the toughest rival he has come across in his life. The animated film directed by Mike Mitchell features voice performances by actors like Jack Black, Awkwafina, Viola Davis and Bryan Cranston.

Anchakkallakokkan (Malayalam)

When: 15th March 

Chemban Vinod Jose and Lukman Avaran will lead the star cast of this film in which a cowardly police constable must survive his first days of duty when a felon in lock up tries to seek revenge. The film directed by Ullas Chemban is touted to be an eccentric thriller set within a single location.

Bastar: The Naxal Story (Hindi)

When: 15th March 

This film deals with the resistance fighters of the naxal movement, taking arms against the system. The film focuses on the exploits of two women who become the centerpiece of a no-holds-barred rebuttal against institutional malpractices. Bastar features Adah Sharma, Indira Tiwari, Raima Sen and Vijay Krishna among an ensemble supporting cast and is directed by Sudipto Sen.

Lambasingi (Telugu)

An old fashioned love story between a village girl and an outsider becomes the central conflict in this film directed by Naveen Gandhi. The film starring Jai Bharat Raj and Divi Vadthya deals with the far reaching effects of a romance on life in a village.

Yodha (Hindi)

When: 15th March 

This action thriller stars Sidharth Malhotra as an agent missing in action, who resurfaces years later during the hijacking of a flight. Yodha deals with questions of his patriotism and details surrounding his failed mission years ago, which deemed him dead. The film also stars Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in lead roles and is directed by Sagar Ambre.

Hide and Seek (Kannada)

When: 15th March 

This supernatural thriller deals with an investigation into an elusive ghost rider and his human trafficking network. Hide and Seek follows a cop on the trail of the criminal and the weird, supernatural events that unfold in the course of investigation. The film is directed by Punith Nagaraju and features Anoop Revanna, Dhanya Ramkumar and Aravind Rao.

Tantra (Telugu)

A timid girl with the supernatural ability of being able to speak to ghosts, finds herself in trouble, when she starts having visions of an evil ‘tantrika’. The chance encounter snowballs into her being thrown into the world of cults and Indian mythic structures. The film directed by Srinivas Gopisetti stars Ananya Nagalla, Dhanush Raghumudri and Saloni Aswani.

Mehabooba (Kannada)

When: 15th March 

A romance doomed from the very beginning finds itself in the crossroads of opposition from their stringent religious backgrounds and familial values. The film helmed by Anup Anthony has a cast consisting of Shashikumar B S, Paavana Gowda, Salman Ahmed and Kabir Duhan Singh.

Sharathulu Varthisthai (Telugu)

Will a one man army’s conviction against the ill treatment of his people impact the system and bring about a change? This social drama deals with a government employee who stands up against the government for the unfair relegation of a particular group into the fringes of society. Chaitanya Rao, Bhoomi Shetty and Nanda Kishore lead the cast of this film directed by Kumara Swamy.

Tilotomma (Bengali)

A legal drama surrounding the owner of an orphanage, who is battling it out against the land claimants' absence for 15 years. However, some new developments in the case help him uncover ways to build a strong case in court. The film is directed by Soumojeet Adak.

Kerebete (Kannada)

When: 15th March

Kerebete is set against the backdrop of the eponymously named annual fish-hunting event celebrated in the Malnad region of Karnataka. The film however traces the deep rooted prejudices and cultural backlash that threatens to be upended when a love story is added to the mix, involving two key members of the local population. Directed by Rajguru Bheemappa, it features Gowrishankar Shankarahalli, Bindhu Shivram, Gopal Deshpande.

Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri (Punjabi)

A man who considers all women to be bad and refers to them as ‘Chudail`, finds himself in trouble when he discovers love in a woman, who turns out to be a real life ‘Witch’ or ‘Chudali’ and his consequent efforts to get a grip on his reality are in trouble. The film directed by Vikas Vashisht stars Gippy Grewal, Sargun Mehta, Roopi Gill and Nirmal Rishi among others in an ensemble cast.

Chow Chow Bath (Kannada)

When: 15th March

Three love stories merge in this romantic comedy that will deal with couples trying to unite against societal and ideological differences. The ensemble romantic drama features Sagar, Aruna Balraj, Sushmitha Bhat, Sankalp H Sharma and Dhanush S Baikampady. The film is directed by Kenja Chethan.
