Shaitaan (Hindi)

When: March 8 

The peace of a family on a vacation to their farmhouse in a secluded village is ruined by an uninvited guest who seems to be puppeteering the daughter through black magic. Ajay Devgn and Jyotika star as the helpless parents fighting to save their daughter while Madhavan plays the unholy intruder with sinistrous plans for the family. Directed by Vikas Behl, Shaitaan is reportedly an adaptation of the 2023 Gujrati horror film Vash.

Gaami (Telugu)

When: March 8

The ambitious Telugu film has been in the making for nearly 6 years and follows Shankar, a reclusive aghora, played by Vishwak Sen, who is on a path to find the cure for his rare condition: an inability to experience human touch. The film, directed by debutant Vidyadhar Kagita, co-stars Chandhini Chowdary, M G Abhinaya, Mohammad Samad, Harika Pedada, and is produced by Karthik Sabareesh. V Celluoid presents the film.

Bhimaa (Telugu)

When: March 8

Bhimaa marks the Telugu debut of Kannada director A Harsha known for helming big-ticket films such as BhajarangiVajrakayaAnjani Putra, and more recently, Vedha. Starring Gopichand in what looks like a dual role, the film is billed as an intense action entertainer with a supernatural touch. The film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malavika Sharma as female leads while Nasser, Vennela Kishore, Poorna, and Raghu Babu are a part of the supporting cast. Ravi Basrur of KGF-fame serves as the music composer while KK Radhamohan produces through Sri Sathya Sai Arts.

Karataka Damanaka (Kannada)

When: March 8

This Kannada entertainer features Dr Shivarajkumar and Prabhu Deva as two fraudsters who are tasked to go to a village to accomplish a mission assigned by their jailer. The film, directed by Yograj Bhat, best-known for directing films like Mugaru MaleGaalipata, and more recently Garadi, while Nishvika Naidu, Priya Anand, P Ravi Shankar and Tanikella Bharani star in supporting roles.

Kanni (Marathi)

When: March 8

The Marathi comedy-drama follows Kalyani, "a small-town girl who, when pushed against the edge devises a risky plan to marry a UK citizen and secure her future." The film, directed by Sameer Hemant Joshi, stars Hruta Durgule, Ajinkya Raut, Shubhankar Tawde, Vallari Virak and Rishi Manohar.

Thankamani (Malayalam)

When: March 7

Thankamani features Dilip as Abel Joshua Mathen whose life turns upside down due to a real-life dispute that happened in Idukki 1986. Written and directed by Ratheesh Raghunandan of Udal-fame, the film is produced by RB Choudhry through Super Good Films in association with Raaffi Mathirra's Iffaar Media. The film has music by William Francis by Manoj Pillai serves as the director of photography.

Boss (Odia)

When: March 7

This female-centric Odia drama, starring Varsha Priyadarshini in the lead role is directed by Tripati Sahu and co-stars Raj Rajesh and Harihara Mohapatra.

J Baby (Tamil)

When: March 8

Based on real incidents, the social dramedy features Urvashi as a middle-aged woman with mental issues and a tendency to steal petty items like electric fuses and letters. When her behaviour leads to a rift with her son, played by Dinesh, she leaves the house, compelling the son to go on a journey searching for her. Produced by Neelam Productions, Vistas Media, and Neelam Studios, the film is written and directed by Suresh Mari.

Trinkya (Odia)

When: March 8

The film's official synopsis reads, "A widowed professor forms an unconventional bond with a robotic doll, while a different woman navigates the complexities of an abusive marriage. Parallely, a relentless quest for motherhood drives another woman to extraordinary lengths." Trinkya stars Barsha Nayak, Manoj Mishra, Sradha Panigrahi, and Partha Sarathi Ray in the lead roles. The film is directed by Anupam Patnaik.

Tera Kya Hoga Lovely (Hindi)

When: March 8

Tera Kya Hoga Lovely is billed as a comedy of errors set in Haryana and explores the dynamics, relationships, and eccentricities between family, friends, lovers, and weirdly enough, cops! The film stars Ileana D'Cruz, Randeep Hooda and Karan Kundrra, and Pavan Malhotra in the main roles while Balwinder Singh Janjua directs.

Blink (Kannada)

When: March 8

The Kannada thriller, starring Dheekshith Shetty and Chaithra Achar of Sapta Saagaradache Ello-fame follows Apoorva who has a unique ability to control blinking, which becomes a curse when mysterious people enter her life and add to his complexities. The film is directed by Srinidhi Bengaluru.

Jog 101 (Kannada)

When: March 7

The film's official synopsis reads, "Vikram comes to Jog in search of his extended family Sushma and Rakesh who have been missing for months. While looking for answers, he unravels a sinister plot." Jog 101, directed by Vijay Kannadiga, stars Vijay Raghavendra, Tejaswini Shekar, and Thilak Shekar.
