Chaver (Malayalam)

When: September 21

Chaver is about a gang on the run who resort to violence in order to survive the night. This action flick stars Kunchako Boban, Anthony Pepe and Arjun Ashokan and is directed by Tinu Pappachan known for his high-octane action films like Ajagajantharam (2021).

Demon (Tamil)

When: September 22

When a young man has strange nightmares, he sets out to trace back the origins of his visions and why he was seeing these mysterious events. Directed by Ramesh Pazhanivel, this horror thriller stars Sachin Mani, Aparanthi and Kumki Aswin in the lead.

Toby (Malayalam)

When:  September 22

Toby is a high-octane action film featuring Raj B Shetty in the titular role, who also serves as the writer. The film is based on a story by TK Dayanand and is about a beast-like man, who has to redeem himself through a journey of self-discovery to unite with his love. Directed by debutant Basil Alchalakkal, the film also features Samyukta Hornad, Rajdeep Shetty and Chaitra Achar.

Expend4bles (English)

When: September 22

Directed by Scott Waugh, this is the fourth instalment of the Expendables franchise and narrates the story of a highly armed group of professional militants who are tasked with deadly missions. This film will see the return of recurring stars like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and Dolph Lundgren along with new actors like Tony Jaa, Megan Fox and Iko Uwais.

Cheater (Telugu)

When: September 22

The film follows the protagonist, who becomes part of a weird romance only to find out later that her newfound love is not really worth holding on to. The film stars Chandrakanth Dutta, Rekha Nirosha and Narendra Andekar and is directed by Barla Naraya.

Luv You Shankar (Hindi)

When: September 2

This animated feature will star Shreyas Dalpade, Sanjay Mishra and Tanisha Mukherjee and narrate the story of a friendship that blossoms between an eight-year-old boy and lord shiva in the backdrop of Banaras. Luv You Shankar is directed by Rajiv Ruia.

The Great Indian Family (Hindi)

This comedy features Vicky Kaushal in the lead and revolves around a young Brahmin priest who is a local favourite among the villagers. However, when a secret from his concealed past about his religious identity is revealed, everyone around him begins to doubt his actions. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra and Sadiya Siddiqui.

Varevva Jathagaallu  (Telugu)

In a religious community called Shivapuram, human sacrifice and deity appeasing are taken to extreme levels to ensure the peaceful life of the villagers. Directed by Sathya Saladi, this film stars Vemi Mamta Reddy, Robert Loius, Posani Krishna Murali and Polla Priyanka.

Digvijaya (Kannada)

What will happen when a rebellious citizen promises that all farmer loans can be repaid within a period of 48 hours? Will the system and public believe him? Directed by Durga Prasad and Srikanth Honnavalli, the film stars Jayaprabhu Lingayath, Sneha Khatri and Suchendra Prasad.

Pushkara (Odia)

This literary adaptation of the novel ‘Nadabindu’ deals with the practices of post-death rituals in a crematory ground and a unique love story that blossoms in the ground over time. Directed by Subranshu Das, the film stars Sabyasachi Mishra, CH Bikash Das, Ashrumochan Mohanty and Alaka Sarpaty.

The Moon (Korean)

This science fiction thriller set in the near future deals with a failed moon landing mission by South Korea that leads to an astronaut being stranded in space. The film directed by Yong-Hwa Kim stars Sol Kyung-gu, Kyung-Soo Do and Kim Hee-ae.

Sukhee (Hindi)

This slice-of-life comedy deals with a thirty-eight-year-old Punjabi woman, who is fed up with her mundane, repetitive life and decides to take a break by attending her school reunion in Delhi. Directed by Sonal Joshi, the film stars Shilpa Shetty, Amit Sadh and Kusha Kapila.

Ashtadigbandhanam (Telugu)

This nonlinear drama deals with the life of three strangers who face a common issue. Will they team up to solve the problem? Directed by Baba PR, this thriller stars Surya Bharath, Vishika Kota and Manoj Kumar Agarwal.

Palan (Bengali)

When: September 22

An elderly couple, who feel guilty that their servant died due to poor living conditions, are in a dilemma when they are forced to evacuate their homes by authorities. Will they be able to leave the place they called home for most of their lives? The film stars Anjan Dutt, Mamata Shankar and Paoli Dam and is directed by Kaushik Ganguly.

Rab Di Mehhar (Punjabi)

A woman is caught between two men who are ready to go to any extent to win their true love. Who will she choose? The film stars Ajay Sarkaria, Kashish Rai and Dheeraj Kumar and is directed by Abhay Baiju Chabbra.

Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Telugu)

Set in two different timelines, the dubbed version of SSE - Side A, is the first instalment of a duology and narrates an intense love story. It marks the second collaboration between actor Rakshit Shetty and director Hemanth after the critically acclaimed classic Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu (2016). The film co-stars Rukmini Vasanth and Achyuth Kumar.

Rudramkota (Telugu)

Kahi De Ne Prem Chhe (Gujarathi)
