Streaming Calendar: 30 Movies and Shows to Watch in March 2023
In the age of hybrid workforces, many more of us are relying on streaming platforms in search of distraction, escape or just plain entertainment. With a new month comes new possibilities, talent, collaborations and shiny new releases for us to get lost in. From K-drama The Glory's second part on Netflix to Sharmila Tagore's comeback Gulmohar on DisneyPlus Hotstar, here’s a list of what's releasing this month across platforms.

The Mandalorian S3
When: March 1
Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu and their journey through the Star Wars galaxy continues. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

Mohanlal plays Kalidas, a man living alone in a Kochi apartment during the COVID-19 lockdown. Alone attempts to capture the Kalidas’ experience alone.
Gulmohar
When: March 3
Starring Sharmila Tagore and Manoj Bajpayee in key roles, Gulmohar revolves around the Batra family as they decide to move out of their house of 34 years and rediscover the relationships their home is built upon. The film is directed by debutant director Rahul V. Chittella.
Chang Can Dunk
When: March 10
By centring Chang Can Dunk around an Asian teenager, director Jingyi Shao adds a twist to the sports drama of the 90s. The film follows Chang (Bloom Li) and the fateful bet he wagers with the school’s star player, Matt (Chase Liefeld), that he can do a slam dunk in 12 weeks’ time.

The K-drama revolves around the life and antics of Shin Sung-han (Cho Seung-woo, Stranger), a pianist who decides to become a divorce lawyer after facing a personal tragedy.
Thalaikoothal
When: March 3
Directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, Thalaikoothal follows a man's struggles to keep his comatose father alive. We see him navigate financial hurdles and a family that regards euthanasia as the way to go ahead.
Luther: The Fallen Sun
When: March 10
Directed by Jamie Payne, the film follows detective John Luther, played by Idris Elba, who breaks out of prison to catch a brutal serial killer who is terrorising London.
The Glory part 2
When: March 10
The much-awaited second part of The Glory, featuring eight new episodes, premiers on March 10. Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) continues her vengeance on the woman who brutally bullied her in high school.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga
When: March 24
A flight attendant and her business partner plan to steal diamonds and free themselves from the grips of a loan shark. However, their heist soon turns into a hostage situation. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga stars Yami Gautam, Sunny Kaushal and Sharad Kelkar.
Kill Boksoon

Cannes-winning actress Jeon Do-yeon is back on Netflix after her last release Crash Course in Romance, this time as an assassin. She plays a hardworking, single mother to a teenager who is also a contract killer with a 100% success rate.
Rana Naidu

The series witnesses a problem solver stuck neck-deep in his own mess. Directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, Rana Naidu is an adaptation of the 2013 American crime drama Ray Donovan.
