Mr. & Mrs. Mahi Box Office: Cricket Drama Has a Promising 1st Weekend

Last seen together in the 2021 horror comedy Roohi, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have their second collaboration in Sharan Sharma’s romantic sports drama Mr. & Mrs. Mahi. They play a couple with a shared passion for cricket, and their relationship faces challenges when Kapoor’s character gets selected for the state team. Although the film received mixed reviews, it opened to promising numbers and has shown steady growth over the weekend.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk Entertainment, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi earned Rs. 6.75 crore on opening day. Saturday saw a slight dip in numbers with a collection of Rs. 4.6 crore, before picking up slightly with Rs. 5.5 crore on Sunday. The film enters this week with a noteworthy total collection of Rs. 16.85 crore. Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has made its place among the top 10 best opening weekends for Hindi releases in 2024, beating out Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan and looking to comfortably sail past Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha.
