5 films unveiled their first look, either with a short video or a still image, on Valentine's Day.

Laila Majnu

Presented by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the first look of Laila Majnu is more Ali than Kapoor: a couple in the mountains, going a little wild. Kapoor and Ali's partnership is not entirely surprising. Time and again, Ali's movies have riffed on the folk love stories of Heer Ranjha, Laila Majnu. The movie will be directed by Sajid Ali. With the cast yet to be announced, Laila Majnju is expected to release on May 4, 2018.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu

The shooting of this Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer is still on. But the makers of Batti Gul Meter Chalu released Shraddha's look. All we know about her character as of now is that her name is Lalita Nautiyal aka Nauti. The movie is based on the problems of a man who has to pay high electricity bills despite long power cuts.

Love Ratri

The quirkily named movie is the debut of Aayush Sharma, Salman Khan's brother-in-law, and Warina Hussain. The movie hits the theatres on September 21, 2018. It is directed by Abhiraj Minawala who has been an assistant director on movies like Sultan (2016) Fan (2016) and Gunday (2014).

October

The 20 seconds video of Shoojit Sircar's next is so minimal that it could be an image. All we see is a a sombre Varun Dhawan, autumnal atmospherics and a woman looking out of the window. We are intrigued.

Blackmail

A shirtless Irrfan runs on the streets, a brown lingerie bag on his head. If you are thinking of Delhi Belly, you are thinking right. Blackmail (whose 'male' is in Hindi, releasing February 22, is from the same director Abhinay Deo.
