This amazing book helped my mind to assemble the process the film together. It was a journey inside the art of great Sidney Lumet. He talks about his process of making movies with a surgeon's precision. A must read.

I have lost count on how many times I have seen Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. This book delves deeper into the art of Martin Scorsese. It is a compilation of interviews which helps the readers decode Scorsese's journey and his process of making films.

It has rarely happened with me when I picked up a book just looking at the cover. The haunting eyes of Neeta from Meghe Dhaka Tara, and the title "Rows and rows of fences" hooked me immediately. Unlike his contemporaries Satyajit Ray and Mrinal sen, partition and the sense of loss created the foreground of all Ghatak films.
