For the uninitiated, the Emmys are regarded as the highest achievement in television – the equivalent of what the Oscars are to movies.

This year, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will honor the best of American primetime television content from June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018. The ceremony will take place from 5:30am (IST) on Tuesday, 18th September, 2018 and will be available to live stream on the Hotstar app.
