Netflix India has unveiled its upcoming slate of 17 originals, including twelve films and five series. A mix of commissioned projects and acquired Bollywood titles such as the biopic Gunjan Saxena, Anurag Basu's Ludo and rom-com Ginny Weds Sunny. The titles are set to release on Netflix in the coming months.
Following the announcement, Monika Shergill, VP-Content, Netflix India said, "We are excited to share our lineup of stories across formats and multiple genres. We know our members have unique tastes, moods and needs – sometimes, they want to lean back and watch a delightful comedy, and at other times, they want a pulse-pounding thriller that brings them to the edge of their seats. Anurag Basu's next is a multi-starrer comedy drama about four people whose lives collide, with a cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi and Pearle Maaney.
