Akhanda Makers To Produce Srikanth Addala's Next

It has been announced that Telugu director Srikanth Addala's next will be produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations, the producer of Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer Akhanda (2021).

The announcement was made with a teaser poster that features a bruised hand. Details such as the first look and the title of the film will be announced on June 2, the makers said in a statement. While further details related to the film are currently under tight wraps, the statement says that it will be a new-age film.

Srikanth's last film was Narappa, the official remake of Vetri Maaran's Asuran (2019). Featuring Venkatesh in the titular role, the film premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video during the height of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic in July 2021. The filmmaker even expressed his disappointment over the lack of theatrical release. His last theatrical release was Mahesh Babu's Brahmostsavam in the summer of 2016.

Srikanth's films include Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008) and Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013)
