According to the Times of India report, Akshay Kumar will be collaborating with producer Firoz Nadiadwala to revive his hit franchise films— Hera Pheri (2000), Awara Paagal Deewana (2002) and Welcome (2007).

The actor is keen on revisiting three out of his many loved characters from his films, including Raju from Hera Pheri, Guru Gulab Khatri from Awara Paagal Deewana, and Rajiv from Welcome. According to the report, the idea is to revive the three franchises and bring back the Hindi cinema audience in a big way. The talks are on with three top directors and an official announcement on one of the three projects is expected in the next few months.

Kumar will next be seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-starring Tiger Shroff. The actor also has films like, Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi and Housefull 5 in his pipeline.
