Amala Trailer: Srikanth Is On A Mission To Hunt Down A Serial Killer

The trailer of the crime thriller Amala begins with a sweeping drone shot of the city as Srikanth (in a voiceover), a police officer, says that they are looking for a serial killer who is hiding using different identities. Multiple crime scenes are being cordoned off as the forensic team takes in the evidence. And the trailer suddenly shifts its focus to a school and its students, hinting at the location of the murders. The video ends with actor Sarath Appani’s character approaching the door and addressing an unseen person as ‘Amala’. Who is Amala?

Directed by Nishad Ebrahim, Amala features Anarkali Marikar, Sarath Appani, Srikanth, Ann Mariya and Sajitha Madathil. Produced by Muhsana Nishad Ebrahim under the banners Mascot Productions and Tommana Entertainments, Abhilash Shankar has lensed the film while Noufal Abdullah has handled the editing. With Gopi Sundar providing the music, the film is set to release on June 16.
