Anushka Sharma to make her Cannes debut this year

Anushka Sharma is set to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Sharma will be seen alongside Kate Winslet honouring women in cinema. 

French Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain shared a picture with Sharma and Virat Kohli with a caption, “A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma. I wished Virat & #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments, and discussed Anushka’s trip to #CannesFilmFestival.”

Last year Deepika Padukone made her debut at the film festival. She was a part of the jury and attended panel discussions and screenings.

Sharma will be next seen in Chakda ‘Xpress, a biopic on the life of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
