The makers of the campus comedy Baba Black Sheep recently released the trailer of the film. Written and directed by noted stand-up comic Rajmohan Arumugam, the film centers around two gangs of students within a school who fight for the last bench in the classroom.

Offering a nostalgic trip to the school morning assembly, the four main protagonists are seen conveniently growing silent during the “All Indians are my brothers and sisters” part of the pledge. A series of exams, PT classes, mischievous acts, and friendship moments follow before we are introduced to the two gangs who fight for the last bench. As characters played by Abdul Ayaz and Ammu Abhirami fall in love, things get a little heated between the groups. When it puts them and the school in danger, will they put aside their differences and unite?

Baba Black Sheep co-stars Rj Vigneshkanth, Narendra Prasad and Mic Set Sriram, and others, most of whom rose to fame through the YouTube channel BlackSheep. It is produced by Raahul under the Romeo Pictures banner. Santhosh Dhayanidhi of Inimey Ippadithaan fame has composed the music while Sudarshan Srinivasan has handled the cinematography.
