The glimpse video of the Allu Sirish starrer Buddy is out. The two-and-a-half-minute video begins with a gang of assassins being given a contract by an unknown masked man. The gang is in the subway train with the exteriors hinting at foreign city.

The masked man tells the gang to murder the target brutally and then finally shows a poster which shows the bounty amount (10 million dollars) as well as a picture of the target. The target turns out to be a teddy bear, at which the gang starts laughing. The doors open behind the masked man revealing a compartment filled with cash, making the gang understand the seriousness in his demand. We then move to Buddy, the teddy bear who has come to life, entering an empty compartment in the train while grooving to the music. The assassins follow him and try to shoot him when the character played by Allu Sirish makes his appearance and attacks them with an alcohol bottle shot from a fire extinguisher. The duo then team up to fight the rest of the gang as the masked man looks on.

Written and directed by Sam Anton, the film also stars Ajmal Amir, Prisha Rajesh Singh, Mukesh Kumar and Mohammed Ali. The action comedy is backed by producer KE Gnanavel Raja and Aadhana Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green Films.

The production has also specified that this is not a remake of the Arya starter Teddy, which was also produced by them. The video hints at Buddy being a part of the same universe. Buddy has music by Hiphop Tamizha while Krishnan Vasant is handling the cinematography.
