Custody Promotions: Venkat Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya Drop a Funny Video Ahead of the CSK vs SRH match in IPL

There is something common between Venkat Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s Custody and the upcoming CSK vs SRH match in IPL: both are related to two different states and languages. The makers cash in on this similarity to promote the action entertainer. 

They dropped a three-minute video where Prabhu and Chaitanya don the CSK and SRH jersey, respectively. In a hilarious banter, they both try to defend their favourite teams, while taking digs at the other. Premgi Amaren then intervenes and takes a cliched yet funny route to promote Custody. He says that it is not “Hyderabad vs Chennai” but “Hyderabad and Chennai” because Custody will be released in both languages. 

Besides releasing songs and dance numbers, the makers of Custody are trying other innovative ways to promote the film. Recently, Chaitanya, who plays a cop in the film, visited a police training centre as a part of the promotions. He interacted with police officers and performed a few real stunts.

The film features Kriti Shetty, Arvind Swamy and Priyamani in important roles. It has music by both Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja and is slated to hit the screens on May 12.
