The trailer of the much anticipated film Drishyam 2 is out. The trailer launch happened in Goa and was graced by Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna. It has been seven years since Devgn's character Vijay Salgaonkar's case was closed, however, the tables have turned as Tabu's character IG Meera Deshmukh is hell-bent to find out what happened to her son. She has now joined forces with Khanna, who after seven years is reopening the case with Drishyam 2.

The over two-minute trailer starts with Vijay saying that his family is still being troubled by IG Meera Deshmukh's team for her son Sam's disappearance 7 years ago. It sees that the case is still open. Khanna is the investigating officer in the case who faces similar challenges faced by Tabu seven years ago. Meera, who is now a former IG says that last time she failed because she underestimated a '4th-fail anpadh' (one who failed in class 4) but not again as he is not facing an IG anymore but a mother.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 brings back Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, and Shriya Saran. The film, which is a remake of the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam film of the same name, releases in theatres on November 18.
