First look and teaser of Ashok Selvan's Saba Nayagan out

Actor Sivakarthikeyan unveiled the first look and teaser of Ashok Selvan's next, Saba Nayagan. From the teaser, the film promises to be a colourful ride laced with music and humour, chronicling the journey of the protagonist, SB Aravindh, as he navigates through different phases of life. Ashok will be seen sporting three different looks, each slightly modified to fit the age of the character—as a school-going boy, a college student, and finally, an adult.

Megha Akash, Colour Photo-fame Chandini Chowdary and Karthika Muralidharan will be appearing as the protagonist's love interests in different chapters. The teaser hints at Aravindh's love stories from school and college ending in a breakup as Megha's character announces his 'single' status to girls in an auditorium, just before the film's title is shown.

Saba Nayagan marks the directorial debut of CS Karthikeyan and the supporting cast includes Mayilsamy, Michael Thangadurai, Arun Kumar, Udumalai Ravi, Sriram Krish, and Jaiseelan Sivaram. Leon James composed the music for the film while Balasubramaniem, Dinesh Purushothaman, and Prabhu Rhagav cranked the camera. Ganesh Siva is the editor.

Ashok Selvan was last seen in a cameo role in the horror film Estate and his last appearance as a lead was in the coming-of-age drama, Nitham Oru Vaanam, which was released in theatres in November 2022. In addition to Saba Nayagan, Ashok has a yet-to-be-titled film bankrolled by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, co-starring Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Keerthi Pandian, coming up.
