First Look Of Ashok Selvan-Sarath Kumar's Por Thozhil Out

The first look poster of Por Thozhil, starring Ashok Selvan and Sarath Kumar was unveiled on Wednesday by Vijay Sethupathi, Venkat Prabhu and Gautham Vasudev Menon on Twitter. The poster features Sarath Kumar holding a gun while Ashok Selvan holds 'Tamil Nadu Police Hand Book' instead.

The film, billed as an investigative thriller, is directed by debutant Vignesh Raja, who co-wrote the film with Alfred Prakash. Applause Entertainment Studio, known for titles like Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992 and Nandita Das' Zwigato, is venturing into Tamil cinema with Por Thozhil. The film is a co-production between Applause Entertainment Studio, E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio.

The film co-stars Nikhila Vimal and features music by Jakes Bejoy while Kalaiselvan Sivaji is the cinematographer. Por Thozhil is set to release in theatres on June 9. In addition to this project, Ashok has a film from Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions coming up. He will be next seen in the Prime Video series, Modern Love Chennai.
