First Look Of Bala-Arun Vijay's Vanangaan Out

The first look of ace director Bala's next film Vanangaan was unveiled on Monday. The film stars Arun Vijay and Roshini Prakash. The first look poster sees Arun Vijay in an intense look as he is covered in mud while holding the busts of Periyar and Ganesha.

The film underwent a troubled production phase since it's announcement in 2022. Starting out as a Suriya starrer, the film would have seen the director and actor reunite after over two decades and their third collaboration after Nandha and Pithamagan. Suriya was also set to produce the film along with Jyothika under his 2D Entertainments banner.

However, Suriya left the project after three months of filming due to creative differences with Bala. Reports indicated that the actor had left the project due to story changes. He also withdrew from producing the project.

Vanangaan has now been relaunched with director Bala himself producing the film along with Suresh Kamatchi under the B Studios and V House Productions banners. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar, while Balasubramaniem and Satish Surya handle the cinematography and editing respectively.
